A voice like slow thunder and sweet rain
Voice actor and Los Angeles Dodgers Public Address Announcer Todd Leitz has a deep, thunderous voice that fills Dodger Stadium, and cuts through 50,000 fans, leading many to refer to him as “The Voice of God in Blue Heaven on Earth”. The Voice of Todd Almighty has also been described as “buttery”, “warm”, “chocolatey” and “comforting”. It’s a voice of authority with hints of humor and empathy — imposing, yet approachable. Todd’s voice can be as menacing as it is friendly. In other words, the Voice of Todd Almighty is just the ticket if your project needs gravitas slathered with real maple syrup.
Todd has been the voice of Dodger Stadium since 2015, and has called almost every Dodger game since. He’s worked two consecutive World Series, three National League Championship Series, five straight National League Division Series, and the Semi-finals and Finals of the World Baseball Classic. In July 2020, he’s scheduled to be the PA Announcer for the 2020 MLB All Star Game, Home Run Derby, and MLB Futures Game.
Todd is represented by CESD Talent for Voice Over and Print work. He has a home studio in Los Angeles, equipped with professional grade recording gear and software and Source Connect. His sound quality has the georgethe.tech seal of approval. And whoever he collaborates with says he’s a pretty darn good guy to work with.
Todd lives in Los Angeles with Tina, his wife of 32 years and their rescue puppy Chewbacca, who they call Chewie for short. He has two grown daughters who’ve moved out to start lives and careers of their own.
Leitz is also an accomplished singer and musician, and is the lead singer and harmonica player for a rock band called CORE at various events around southern California. He’s sung the National Anthem at several big league ballparks and NBA arenas.
A former broadcaster, Todd has won Golden Mike Awards for his work, as well as the prestigious Mark Twain Award from the Associated Press.
